Jungle Lagoon
This small jungle water garden oasis features a stunning koi pond with a bridge and multiple waterfalls, creating a lush, tropical retreat situated in an urban setting. Packed with exotic plants and hidden surprises, this space invites exploration and relaxation.
The garden also features an array of aquatic plants such as water lilies and Thalia dealbata, alongside terrestrial marginals like colocasias and cannas. The tropical atmosphere is further enriched by large-leaved architectural plants like paulownia, tetrapanax, fatsia, and bananas, underplanted with hostas, ferns, and mosses to complete the lush, jungle-like feel.
The koi pond spans the full width of the garden, featuring three waterfall streams cascading over granite glacial boulders, the perfect place to relax and unwind and watch the koi lazily swim around.
With all of our installs, artistic creation is paramount to the design; however, with this feature, we were able to take our art and creativity to another level. Drawing inspiration from aquarium aquascaping, we incorporated intricate details, such as moss-covered bog wood and epiphytes, along with densely packed plant life to mimic a damp tropical terrarium.
