I initially called Shade Landscapes to clean my long-neglected pond. They were helpful and attentive throughout the whole process answering my numerous questions on pond care. I couldn’t be happier with the service I received from Shade! They transformed my pond from murky and overgrown to crystal-clear in no time. Their team was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough, leaving no detail overlooked. They even provided helpful tips on how to maintain the pond going forward, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend Shade Landscapes for anyone looking to keep their pond in top condition. It’s clear they genuinely care about their work and the satisfaction of their customers! Thank you Ben and team!

Great opportunity working with Ben & Joe on this pondless waterfall project in Northampton! It was a challenging job but all came through at the end and the clients were so happy and impressed! Thank you to Shade Landscapes for the trust and support you’ve shown me 🙏🏻

Delighted with the waterfall that Ben and Joe built for us. Excellent technical and artistic ability. You couldn't have nicer people in your garden to build. If you want a stunning water feature then these are the go to guys.

I would highly recommend Shade Landscapes. We had quite a small, unusable back garden and we wanted to maximise that space to use for relaxing, entertaining and playing with the dogs. The whole team were a pleasure to deal with and very helpful. They guided us through the process from design to completion and kept us updated on progress throughout.
We’re really happy with the end result.
Garden completely transformed!
Thank you!!! 5 Star!

Shade Landscapes installed 2 Millboard Smoked Oak composite decks at my property to complement a new orangery, & I'm very pleased with the results. Ben & Joe were engaging & thoroughly professional. I can highly recommend them for this type of work.

We used Shade to install our deck and they were fantastic. So much so that when we moved a few years later, they were the first people we called to install a deck and erect a pergola.
Nothing is too much trouble for them. They offer great advice and won’t oversell - if they think it won’t work they will tell you!
Great lads as well - makes it so easy to do business with them!

We are very pleased with our water feature/pond—it has become the focal point of our garden. Ben, Joe, and the entire team impressed us with their professionalism, skill, and attention to detail throughout the project.

Spratton Garden Club recently enjoyed a fantastic evening with Joe Pemberton from Shade Landscapes! Our members were captivated by his talk, especially seeing the caliber of work that earned him a Gold Medal at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. Joe’s knowledge of wildlife-friendly gardening is second to none—the 'newt' enthusiasts in our club certainly kept him busy with questions, and he had a helpful answer for every single one. His focus on how water features improve our wellbeing was truly inspiring. Highly recommended for any club looking for an interesting, high-quality speaker!

Joe transformed my old pond (well completely replaced it) into the most fantastic water feature. The pond with two waterfalls sits right next to the patio in front of a much treasured acer which they framed beautiful. Already it’s a joy, the birds love it and I can’t wait for the spring. The Shade team are brilliant and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Aquatic plants play a crucial role in maintaining a healthy pond ecosystem. They help improve water quality by absorbing excess nutrients, reducing algae growth, and providing oxygen through photosynthesis. Additionally, these plants offer shelter and breeding grounds for fish and other aquatic creatures, promoting biodiversity. Additionally, floating varieties such as lilies provide shade, keeping water temperatures more stable.
